New Years in Late October
Tis funny that I decided to do something that basically should be left until New Years, but as someone said, losing weight should start whenever but it has to be planned out. This is a hope to revitalize this blog and my body back to it's swimmer fit shape I had what seemed like ages ago. In fact four more years and we could clearly chalk it up to a decade of...dare I say it...decadence.
How is this blog going to help out? Well I'm basically going to post all of my activities and perhaps my eating habits everyday or whenever I get the chance. I say 'perhaps' in regards to the eating habits because of my metabolism I probably don't need to. The thing is metabolism of an adult isn't that of a teenager who are like locusts.
But the main thing for this blogging adventure is what good old Arnold Schwarzenegger said...if you want to motivate yourself in losing weight or changing a part of your body for the better....EXPOSE YOUR SHAME. That means show the weakest part of your body so it makes you *have* to change it. Arnold apparently had shitty legs, so he wore shorts all the time. But considering I can't exactly wear *just* a sports bra to work for weather reasons as well as heterosexual fashion reasons, what better place to expose myself than the blogging intraweb eh?

Here's my wonderful midsection in unabashed glory. As you can see, I have love handles as well developing a pear shape. I say developing because I've actually seen a pear shaped person. Man his head was small. On the right side was a vain as attempt to suck it in...as it were. It's not a terrible difference. Wait till you see the side though.

One of the things I notice is tht I have horrible posture. Well here's to hoping it works out.

Lastly here's where I have the pinch test and the poke test. I'm sure that a BF tool would be more accurate, but fat is fat and I'm not going to get too technical...at least not yet. There's pretty much a solid inch or fat between my fingers, nearly enough for a handful. I was surprised by the poke test because it's not as drastically fat as I thought it would be.
I will continue to take pictures every week, just to see if there is any development over time. In the future I'm going to have to invest into a step counter and fast since winter is quickly approaching. Moreso here's what I did today.
4 laps around the park in Matthew's park. Sure that's shit, but it was something to do. Here's hoping to future.
